Thrive + Prosper is a collective working to close Grand Rapids’ $50k+ income gap across neighborhoods and make thriving normal for all 136,000 residents facing economic challenges. But how do you measure progress in a movement that spans housing, health, education, and economic opportunity? T+P needed a way to track outcomes across multiple workstreams and understand whether their initiatives were creating the connections and changes they envisioned.
We designed and managed a measurement system that tracks progress across T+P’s four workstreams—monitoring metrics like homeownership rates, health insurance access, food security, and educational attainment. We also developed and distributed surveys for key initiatives, including the annual T+P Omnibus survey, Opportunity Empowered surveys, Cocktails and Crosspollination participant surveys, Economic Vitality Pathways surveys, and Voice of the Customer surveys. For Opportunity Empowered events, we facilitate live voting to capture real-time impact. Since 2022, we’ve supported initiative execution, including sending 4,500+ invitations for Cocktails and Crosspollination.
